CRUZ BEER Softball

Welcome to the CRUZ BEER Co-Ed Softball Team Site.  

Overall goal of the team is to have fun and play competitive games. No egos or trash talking. This is rec league softball, your teammates and competition are not professionals. You have to play good enough not to embarrass yourself out there.

SPRING 2020 DETAILS:

Cost: $40 per person for starters.
Two practices:
Sunday February 9th and Sunday February 23rd.
First game Sunday March 1st
Last Game (playoffs) Sunday May 10th (if no rain outs!)
All games are on Sunday night

Location: DeLaveaga Park, Santa Cruz
Game times: 6:30pm, 7:45pm, or 9:00pm (70 minute games)
There will be three 9:00pm games.
Co-ed teams: 5 women and 5 men on the field
Single wall bats only. (Fences are only 240 feet)
Only City labeled and approved bats are allowed.  See City bat policy.
Slow pitch and high arc rules. See City rules.
City umpire at every game. IDs are checked at games.
